OVARIANA®Cookies and browser storage
Version dated 22 October 2026. This notice covers the public ovariana.jp website. The controller is MEDAI sp. z o.o.; contact: privacy@ovariana.app. See the website privacy policy for full details and your rights.
1. Saved choices
After your selection, website code stores these preferences in localStorage:
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ovariana-display-theme |
selected light or dark appearance | until changed or site data are cleared |
ovariana-high-contrast |
standard or high contrast | until changed or site data are cleared |
These are local preferences without a name, email address or advertising identifier. When you follow a link to the app, the page language and appearance mode are passed in the address to preserve these settings. Language is determined by the page address and does not determine the pricing country. Country comes from available hosting or Cloudflare information about the connection; current pricing does not store it in browser storage or use an earlier saved country choice. Topic search runs locally and does not save a reading history.
2. Statistics and traffic protection
Website code does not set cookies or use sessionStorage. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate statistics and performance measurement; RUM is disabled for EU visitors. According to the provider's documentation, this measurement does not read or write cookies or browser storage.
Cloudflare also protects connections to the website. When abuse protection is triggered, it may use technical request-verification mechanisms. MEDAI does not use these for advertising or health profiling. We do not use advertising cookies or session recording tools.
3. Managing settings
You can change appearance and contrast on the website and clear site data in your browser. Clearing them restores default appearance settings. Country does not require manual selection; if the country or price is unavailable, the website directs you to check the price in the app. Blocking storage may prevent preferences from being saved but does not prevent reading articles.
This notice covers the website. Login and storage in app.ovariana.app have separate terms. Before adding optional mechanisms requiring consent, we will provide the appropriate choice and update this notice.
